Starting August 26th, new regulations have come into effect in Switzerland. Much like the rest of the world, we are temporarily suspending all Hotspot shipments to the USA.
The issue is that with the removal of the de minimis provision for international packages, we are now required to collect all taxes and tariffs on U.S. shipments in advance. However, the US government has rolled out the decision without providing a functional tool for this, which has created chaos (on top of the uncertainty of not knowing which tariffs apply, or when they will change).
For those interested, we have put together a helpful map of where Swisspost does not ship as of September 2025:
